Computer slowing down for no apparent reason? Internet Explorer displaying random behaviour or refusing to start? You might have contracted a virus. Unfortunately due to a poor security model, Microsoft Windows is not well protected and you can be infected through no fault of your own. The majority of viruses tend to go after the system itself as opposed to your own documents. We will backup your important files and folders to an external device, keeping them safe whilst a thorough check of your computer is made. |

Should your hard drive fail or your sound card stop working, we can obtain a suitable replacement and fit it for you. Similarly, if you require an upgrade to larger hard drive due to running out of space, we can make recommendations based on size required and cost. |

In the event that your Operating System has become unusable (e.g. hard drive failure), we can install a replacement. As with our Virus & Spyware removal service, copies of your important files and folders will be made to ensure their safety. |

We have experience installing both types of network and help your home become networked. This includes the installation of equipment to allow several computers or devices access to a broadband connection. |

Pricing
Work is charged at an hourly rate with an initial call-out fee. However, this fee includes the first hour of work. If there are specific jobs that need to be carried out, such as component upgrades (e.g. larger hard drive), a single fee will be charged.
New parts or components will be ordered as required as spares will not be kept on hand. Whilst this will cause a delay, it also aims to keep the cost to the customer down. With the exception of rare parts, most parts can be obtained within the next working day.
